Asia-Pacific region consists of large countries such as China and India with significant share in our petrochemical products export market, and also well-developed countries such as Japan, South Korea, Malaysia and Indonesia as main energy consumers. On the other hand, presence of oil-rich Persian Gulf littoral countries with a significant share of the world's oil and gas reservoirs, as our competitors in fulfilling Asia-Pacific region demand, calls for a special attention for creating balanced and sustainable relationship with the countries of the region.

Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), including major industrialized countries such as Russia, Ukraine and Belarus, need close attention as our economic and trade potentials. South Caucasus countries (Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia) as well as some Central Asian countries such as Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan shall also be considered as developing petrochemical markets. Moreover, our cultural similarities and historical commonalities with the said countries, as well as geographical and transit advantages, provide us great cooperation opportunities such as exporting technical and engineering services which all will result in expediting our petrochemical industry development..
