The above technology, which has been introduced in the world in recent years, is one of the topics that has attracted the attention of experts and researchers in the country's petrochemical industry. One of the features of this process is the conversion of the major component of natural gas (methane) into high value-added olefins. Methane makes up about 90% of natural gas, so converting it to olefins is of paramount importance. Therefore, considering the importance and important role of propylene in the downstream units of the methanol unit and the importance of using MTO/P technology in the Iranian petrochemical industry due to the high volume of methanol production in the next few years, is priority of this industry.
