Iran Plast Exhibition
Iran Plast International Exhibition seeks to provide a background for prosperity of the domestic plastics industry market and facilitate the global marketing process as well as the presence of this part of the country's industry in the global markets. Today, this exhibition is the largest plastic industry event in the Middle East and is classified among the world's prestigious plastic industry exhibitions.
This exhibition has passed 16 successful periods. A statistical look at the previous periods shows that this exhibition has been able to go through a growing trend with all the problems and issues ahead, so that from the first to the sixteenth period, more than 8000 domestic and foreign companies have attended this international event. Iran Plast International Exhibition is held in the permanent fairground of Tehran International Exhibitions in four groups of raw materials, finished and semi-finished goods, machinery and equipment and services.
Gaining strength of the country's plastic industry has been only one of the benefits of holding this exhibition. In addition, in the shadow of holding this exhibition, various organizations were formed in order to have a more effective presence in different parts of the plastics industry, which paved the way for increasing competition and further prosperity of this industry.
Iran Plast in the passage of time

The 16th Iran Plast exhibition was held on September 21-24 with the aim of developing the international trade of the country's polymer industry in order to promote smart international interactions and ultimately help the economic growth and development of the country. In this exhibition, 610 domestic and foreign companies, including; 31 foreign companies from 16 countries were present. The countries of China, Russia, Turkey, Syria, South Korea, Spain, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Japan, Taiwan, Germany, Qatar, Ukraine, Serbia, England and Italy were among the participating foreign countries.
The 15th Iran Plast Exhibition was held on February 7-10 in permanent fairground of Tehran International Exhibitions with the aim of gaining power in the country's plastics industry and the formation of various organizations for effective presence in various sectors of the plastics industry. The exhibition was attended by 430 domestic and foreign companies from Republic of Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Republic of Iraq (Kurdistan Region), Republic of Turkey, Republic of Serbia, Republic of Tajikistan, Republic of Kazakhstan, Hungary, Republic of Portugal, Federative Republic of Brazil, Burkina Faso, Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Republic of Armenia, Arab Republic of Syria.
The 14th Iran Plast International Exhibition was held from February 7 to 10, 2021. 200 companies, including 197 domestic companies and 3 representatives of foreign companies from Turkey, China and Taiwan, participated in this event.
The 13th Iran Plast International Exhibition was held from September 22 to 25, 2019, by participation of 584 companies including 540 domestic and 44 foreign companies from Italy, Russia, Turkey, China and India.
The 11th Iran Plast International Exhibition was held from September 24 to 27, 2017. More than 1,100 companies participated in this event, including 530 foreign and 570 domestic companies. In this exhibition, the number of countries present at the Iran Plast exhibition reached 24 countries, and companies from Asia and Europe had set up booths to attend the Iran Plast exhibition.
The 11th Iran Plast International Exhibition was held from September 24 to 27, 2017. More than 1,100 companies participated in this event, including 530 foreign and 570 domestic companies. In this exhibition, the number of countries present at the Iran Plast exhibition reached 24 countries, and companies from Asia and Europe had set up booths to attend the Iran Plast exhibition.
The 10th Iran Plast International Exhibition was held from April 13 to 17, 2016.More than 900 companies including 500 foreign and 400 domestic companies participated in this event. In the tenth period, for the first time in the history of Iran Plast, the number of foreign companies exceeded Iranian companies. The attendance of 13 European countries, 10 Asian countries, one African country and one Oceanic country in this exhibition was one of the remarkable points of this exhibition. Total companies from Germany, Austria, Italy, France, England, Spain, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Netherlands, Denmark, Poland, Russia, Belgium, China, South Korea, Taiwan, India, Singapore, Turkey, UAE, Iraq, Bahrain, Pakistan, South Africa and Australia are included in the list of this event.
The 9th Iran Plast International Exhibition was held from September 25 to 29, 2014. During this period, the record number of companies in the exhibition was broken. The 9th exhibition was attended by 500 domestic and 250 foreign companies from 13 countries.
Italy, Austria, Turkey, Taiwan, South Korea, China and India as pavilions and the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Greece, the Netherlands and the UAE as independent countries attended this event.
The 8th Iran Plast was held from November 4 to 7, 2012. China, Turkey, Taiwan and India as pavilions and representatives from 20 countries, including Germany, Austria and Italy, etc. attended this event. This period of the exhibition was held with the presence of 342 Iranian and 258 foreign companies and a total of 600 participants.
The 7th Iran Plast International Exhibition was held from June 23 to 26, 2010, with the participation of 423 Iranian and 257 foreign companies from 22 countries, including Germany, Italy, Turkey, Spain, France, China, Taiwan, South Korea, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Australia, Portugal, Canada, India, UAE, Qatar, UK, Japan and Sweden.
In this period of Iran Plast, which was held from November 11 to 14, 2008, the number of participants decreased to 503. Of these, 366 domestic and 137 foreign companies from 13 countries attended this event.
The 5th Iran Plast was held on November 7 to 11, 2006. Published statistics show that in Iran Plast, 650 companies including 390 domestic and 260 foreign companies attended this event from twenty countries: Germany, Austria, Taiwan, South Korea, China, Italy, Turkey, France, Spain, Netherlands, Malaysia, Egypt, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Switzerland, Japan, Australia, Sweden, Canada and India. The highest number of participants from one country was Germany with 47 companies. In next rank, were China with 39, Taiwan with 29 and Italy with 28 companies.
The 4th period of Iran Plast was held one year after the third period from December 3 to 6, 2005. The fourth period of Iran Plast was attended by 290 foreign companies from 22 countries and 392 Iranian companies.
The 3rd period was held with increase in the number of domestic companies to 342, along with the presence of 220 foreign companies from 21 countries, from December 13 to 19, 2004.
The next period of Iran Plast was held one year after the first period from December 10 to 14, 2003 at the permanent fairground of Tehran International Exhibitions. During this period, 171 foreign companies from 21 countries participated in the exhibition. The number of internal companies of the exhibition also reached 287 during this period.
